One of the strangest phenomena of our modern world is flying across the international time zone. Depending on the direction you're flying, in a moment, it can be yesterday, or it can be tomorrow. A person can actually take a flight today and arrive yesterday. Your body doesn't know it's yesterday, but it is. You have to change your watch to line up with the truth. It's not mind over matter, it's just true, therefore believe it. This is kind of like arriving in Graceland. In Christ, everything has been made new. It's no longer just about what you do, but about what has been given to you. Here's another way to say it. I love my wife's hair. I like to touch it and smell it especially after it's been washed. But, every once in a while, I have to unclog the shower. What I fish out of there with a coat hanger is still her hair, but if I had a hazmat suit I'd wear it! It's all a matter of timing. You don’t bury people to kill them, you bury them because they’re dead. I died in Christ. It’s not my experience, it’s His death that I’m in. Therefore, my old life is over. Now, I have to line up my way of thinking as someone who has died and risen as a new person. It’s time to reset your watch.
