I find his insights refreshing and even surprising as he challenges us to see that the Lord’s grace is greater, his love is beyond imagination and God is infinitely better than the best definition of his goodness. Ever the pastor, Don lays down practical suggestions as to how one can align themselves with the promises of God and journey further into a healthy spiritual life. He makes these truths easy to ingest through his practical illustrations and superb gift of storytelling. It would be hard to forget the story of he and his daughter sitting on the beach painting from one easel, she with her left hand and he with his right as an illustration of relationship and love.
