Forty Days Full - An Invitation To Real Life

yourself and not live in real life is powerful. Clearly, a game didn't kill their marriage. It merely highlighted cracks that were already in their foundation. This game gave opportunity to seek other interests without accountability. Things done in secret will eventually come to the light. Jesus asked His disciples, "who do you say that I am?" Simon (Peter) declared with confidence what others were hesitant to say, "You are the Christ, The Son of the living God!" Jesus celebrated, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven." He was telling him you've had a real encounter with the Father. There's no other way you would have this revelation. Jesus went on, "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." Based upon the revelation of Jesus, as the Christ, Simon gets a name change out the deal and a destiny upgrade. It is from this conversation that we now know him as Peter, or as I like to say, Rocky. And this rock (peter) would take a lead role in guiding the early church. I believe what's being said here is that out of a revelation encounter with the Christ we will be given our identity and mission.

Who are you? Only your Father can answer that question. It is through an encounter with Him that you will find the answer.
