Units on individual sewage treatment systems (ISTS) are subject to an additional review fee by Scott County.

PLUMBING PLAN REVIEW FEES The purpose is to establish a uniform fee schedule for plumbing plan review services administered by the City, including services performed under delegation from the State of Minnesota, and to ensure recovery of costs associated with plan review, administration, and enforcement. This section applies to all plumbing plan reviews conducted by the City for new construction, alterations, repairs, or other work requiring review under the Minnesota State Plumbing Code. Plumbing plan review fees shall be based on the total valuation of the proposed work and assessed as follows:

$316 for the first $5,000, plus $33 for each additional $1,000 or fraction thereof, and including $25,000

$976 for the first $25,000, plus $31 for each additional $1,000 or fraction thereof, and including $50,000

$1,751 for the first $50,000, plus $23 for each additional $10,000 or fraction thereof, and including $500,000

$500,001 - $3,000,000

$2,786 for the first $500,000, plus $41 for each additional $100,000 or fraction thereof, to and including $3,000,000

$3,811 for the first $3,000,000, plus $33 for each additional $100,000 or fraction thereof

Valuation The total valuation shall be determined by the Building Official or their designee and shall include all labor, materials, equipment, and associated costs of the plumbing work. Delegation Authority Where the City has been granted delegation by the State of Minnesota to perform plumbing plan review and inspection services, the fees established in this section shall apply unless otherwise required by state law.

Payment Required No plumbing plan review shall commence until the applicable fee has been paid.
