wire 2014 show

7 th - 11 th April

➣➢➣ This manufacturing programme comprises basically three wire diameter ranges: annealers are being o ered for ne wire diameters ranging from 0.15mm to 0.5mm, for intermediate wire from 0.4mm to 1.2mm and for bigger wire diameters from 1mm to 3.6mm. Machines for other wire diameter ranges are available tailor-made. continuous resistance annealers for in-line use with copper wire drawing machines. The idea is to o er simple and e ective machines to complete existing drawing machines.

GEO’s product range is completed by a wide variety of spiral brushes with metal and synthetic laments. GEO-Reinigungstechnik GmbH – Germany Website : www.geo-reinigungstechnik.de

GEO specialises in the production of ultrasonic cleaning lines, high pressure cleaning and rinsing jets, steam cleaning, air wipes and mechanical (brush) cleaning systems for wire strip, tube, cable, rod and similar longitudinal con gurations. The high quality demands on the cleaning processes can be realised with proven GEO components, complemented by state- of-the-art systems for continuous bath monitoring, take-up and pay-o units and much more according to individual requirements. Whether in high-speed applications, the manufacture of medical products, the contact-free cleaning of precious metal and aluminium alloy strips for the production of precision stamped parts or the fully automatic cleaning of high-grade steel ribbon for the production of high temperature superconductors, GEO components and systems are used in a multitude of production and nishing stages. GEO’s integrated cleaning systems can be placed in-line with the production line or placed o -line as a separate process. In the eld of multi-wire cleaning, GEO’s new multi-strand ultrasonic plant is based on expertise gained over two decades of experience. Completely made of stainless steel for an extremely long service life, particular attention has been paid to easy and straightforward operation. Cleaning, rinsing and drying are equipped with special wire guides for intelligent handling. with liquids is almost impossible. The energy e ciency of the system meets the highest standards. GEO’s popular ‘primary wire wipe’ system is now also available for multi-wire treatment. Originally designed for less demanding single wire cleaning applications, the new concept allows the parallel operation of close together arranged wires between two strips of absorbing tape material. Clean tape surfaces move continuously against the motion direction of the material. In this way the wire does not come into contact with contaminated wipers as is the case when rags or stationary felt pads are used. Coming into contact
