Trumpf breaks ground on new laser building in Connecticut

Enventure acquires Triad Pipe & Steel Co

Trumpf Inc, USA, has begun construction on a new research and manufacturing facility that will be used to further develop new lasers. This high-tech facility – intended to expand the company’s production of laser resonators – will add 83,000ft 2 to the existing Trumpf premises in Farmington, Connecticut. The building will feature a new production hall designed for the manufacture of different types of CO 2 and solid-state laser

Enventure Global Technology, USA, has acquired Houston-based Triad Pipe & Steel Company, a supplier of specialty OCTG to the oil and gas industry. Owned by Shell Technology Ventures and Halliburton Energy Services, Enventure provides expandable tubular and drilling management solutions to operators worldwide. With the purchase of Triad, Enventure has recognised an opportunity to provide an added element of service to its customers.
