CITY OF SHAKOPEE MANAGEMENT’S DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS December 31, 2018

Governmental Activities Governmental activities increased the City’s net position by $4,274,162. The major increase was related to developer contributed capital in 2018 which totaled approximately $3.8 million. Additionally, increased services at the community center and ice arena with a full year of operations after the completion of construction during 2017 increased memberships, ice rentals and admission revenues.
