NOTE 2 – RECONCILIATION OF GOVERNMENT-WIDE AND FUND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS A. Explanation of Certain Differences between the Governmental Fund Balance Sheet and the Government-Wide Statement of Net Position The governmental fund Balance Sheet includes reconciliation between fund balance – total governmental funds and net position – governmental activities as reported in the government-wide Statement of Net Position. One element of that reconciliation explains that “Internal Service Funds are used by management to charge the costs of providing certain services for the City.” Net Position of the Internal Service Funds 42,390,747 $

Explanation of Certain Differences between the Proprietary Fund Statements of Net Position and the Government-Wide Statement of Net Position The proprietary fund Statement of Net Position includes reconciliation between net position – total enterprise funds and net position of business-type activities as reported in the government-wide Statement of Net Position.
