SUSIE ERPELDING- 2000 Grad

Jess ica Gray (Redwood City, CA) a 2000 graduate from the Univers ity of San Diego, played for the Toreros from I996- 2000. Gray, a strong inside player, was a West Coast Conference First Team selection in her senior season while averaging 14.3 points and 9.4 rebounds in her senior year. Gray also set a new USO record for rebounds in a season as she pulled down 281 boards in her fina l year. She is the #2 all-time rebounder at USO with 700 boards. Jess ica is currently playing professional basketball for the Ipswich Bobcats in England. Ipswich Head Coach Elaine Miller says, "Jessica is a huge asset to the club and has already fit into the team really well. She also fits into our style of play and gets along with the girls excellently."

Susie Erpelding (San Diego, CA) completed her undergraduate degree in 1998 and her master's degree in 2000 from USO. A four-year women's basketball letter-winner, Erpelding played for the Toreros from 1995-2000. In her career, she scored 1,5 10 points-– naming her the# I all -time scorer at

USO. Erpe lding was a three-time All -West Coast Conference First Team Selection, a two-time WCC All-Academic selection, a two-time Strength and Conditioning All– American and a two-time GTE Academic All– American. Not only did Erpelding break the all -time scoring record at USO, but she also set new standards for po ints scored in a single season and points scored in a single game. She recorded 510 total points in her senior season and recorded 37 of those points versus the Portland Pi lots. Susie is currently playing profes-

TRACY SCHNEIDER -- Administrative Assistant; 3rd Year

Tracy begins her third season as an administrative ass istant w ith the USO women's basketball program. A Media Communications major from Seattle, Washington, she wen t to Seattle Prep High Schoo l. She assists in the office doing statistics, work ing with rec rui ting data base, and other adm in– istrative duties. After graduation she wants to have a career in athl etics.

KATIE KRIER --Administrative Assistant; / st Year Kati e begins her first year assisting the USO women's basketball program. An Elementary Education major from Estes Park, Co lorado. She attended Estes Park High Schoo l where she lettered in basketball , vo ll eyball and track. Katie chose to attend the University of San Diego because of its location, small schoo l atmosphere and academic opportunity. She is one of seven children. Katie 's responsibilities include the set up of practice drills, managing the clock and scoreboard at prac tice.

KATIE LAZARUS -- Administrati ve Assistant; 1st Year Kati e, a nati ve of Fres no, CA, enters her first year work ing w ith the USO women 's bas ketball team. Her responsibilities include maintaining the team 's game and prac tice uni forms. Kati e is a seni or maj oring in Eng lish at USO. She pl ans on teaching hi gh schoo l eng li sh after graduati on. Lazarus attended San Joaquin Memori al Hi gh Schoo l and lettered in softball and vo ll eyball.
