eq ' Alexander Tuff passed the modified Prelim inary Examination for which he had liberty to present himself. The remaining candidates are postponed. At the Final Examination for Apprentices seeking admission as Solicitors held on 3rd, 4th, and 5th January, the following passed the Exam ination, and their names are arranged in order of merit : — 1. Vincent P. Shields. 2. John J. •\ATalsh. 3. Thomas D. McLoujrhlin. 4. John B. Murphy. 5. Edward MaeDermott. 6. George Thorp. The Council have awarded Special Certifi cates to Vincent P. Shields and John J. Walsh. The remaining candidates are postponed.
