The piece originated from an international airmail cover; affixed with one 30 RMB Shanghai Print Postal Runner and Train stamp to pay for the local postage; also affixed with five Hwa Nan SYS 10 fen Silver Yuan stamp – 10 fen to pay for upgrading from local to international based rate, 40 fen to pay for international airmail postage. The piece also franked with Amoy 49.11.24. cds.
