Hokies take pride in their athletics. Virginia Tech has been atop the elite Atlantic Coast Conference in many sports and have made several NCAA tournament appearances with 22 varsity teams participating. In addition, there are 39 intramural sports, on-campus gyms, aquatic center, boxing gym, and more than 100 group exercise classes taught each week. The Virginia Tech student body plays an impactful role in creating the best atmosphere in college sports and have been made to thoughtfully improve the game day experience for all involved.
