We want to invite you to be part of the GALA’S PLANNING COMMITTEE. We need your support to achieve the goals of Círculo’s Mission. Círculo has provided scholarships to Hispanic High School graduates for the past 38 years as a result of the Gala’s fundraising efforts. We are the longest standing recognized Hispanic institution on Long Island awarding Hispanic students’ scholarships. To date, Círculo has awarded approximately 350,000 in scholarships with the support of our sponsors and community members providing students with college tuition costs and the encouragement for continuing their education. Last year Círculo initiated a “Sponsor a Student” program, and it was a great success; therefore, will continue the program for those that cannot attend the Gala but wish to sponsor a student. The Committee Meeting will take place at the Café at the Círculo Center located at 605 Peninsula Blvd. Hempstead, N.Y. The Planning Committee will meet ONLY for 1 hour, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm on the following dates: • Tuesday, March 19
