Appointment of the person responsible for the Registration Document 1.3.1 Pierre-André de Chalendar, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain. Statement by the person responsible for the Registration Document 1.3.2 including the Annual Financial Report I hereby declare, after having taken all reasonable care to ensure that such is the case, that the information contained in this Registration Document is, to the best of my knowledge, in accordance with the facts and contains no omission likely to affect its import. I further declare that, to the best of my knowledge, the financial statements have been prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards and give a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and results of the Company and of all the companies included in the consolidation scope, and that the information provided in the management report contained in this Registration Document and listed in the Cross-reference Table in chapter 10, section 3.2 provides a true and fair view of the evolution of the business, results and financial position of the Company and of all the companies included in the consolidation scope, as well as a description of the main risks and uncertainties to which they are exposed. I obtained a completion letter from the Statutory Auditors in which they state that they have audited the information relating to the financial position and the financial statements included in this Registration Document, and that they have read this Registration Document in its entirety.
