DOUBLE BEAD TAPE MASTIC

1/4"-14 X 7/8" WT

ROOF CAP

RIDGE FLASHING Install the roof cap starting and ending flush with the outside of the gable trim. Fasten the ridge flashing to the outside/ridge closures with 1/4"-14 x 7/8" WT fasteners. Temporarily leave 4'-0" unfastened on each end to allow for the rake trim to be installed later.

DO NOT FASTEN THROUGH THE LOCK OF THE STANDING SEAM.

* Roof Cap to be flush with the outside face of the gable trim. Refer to Section and Detail pages in the Erection Drawings. ROOF CAP

Apply a bead of Sikalastomer-511, as shown, and install (14)1/4"-14 x 7/8" WT fasteners at roof cap laps. Use a 2" lap dimension.
