D ecember in Hawaii is a fun time filled with festive and cultural celebrations. At Mauna Lani the season kicks-off as poinsettias fill the lobby and colorful Charity Tress are on display. Twilight at Kalahuipua`a, Talk Story Under a Full Moon is on Dec. 10. and on Dec. 21 Hula Halau Waiau will perform in the atrium from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm. On Dec. 22, the Charity Tree winners will be announced followed by the music of the Kona Choral Society in the atrium and a Charity Tree Buffet will be served in the Bay Terrace. Our Chefs have created a bounty of festive menus for the holiday season. Guests can enjoy breakfast at the Bay Terrace and themed buffets on select nights, lunch & sunset cocktails at the Ocean Bar & Grill, dinner at the oceanfront CanoeHouse and the Honu Bar serves handcrafted cocktails, pupu and small plates while lunch and dinner is served at Shiono’s Japanese Restaurant at the Golf Clubhouse. Dec. 26 - 30 keiki and parents can join in Makahiki Festivities (Hawaiian games & crafts) ocean front by the Milo Tree. There’s always something happening at Mauna Lani Bay!
