New software for advanced 3D view

2009 as a subsidiary of AiMESS Services GmbH. The company’s managing directors are David Nabs and Hendrik Richter, two measurement experts with many years of professional experience. Due to their in-depth technical knowledge, the young venture has quickly become an important market player. AiMESS manufactures infrared 3D scanners and innovative artefacts for stationary and portable measuring systems. Moreover, the company produces measurement adapters and accessories for portable 3D measuring systems. In German speaking countries, AiMESS also acts as authorised reseller of measuring systems made by Solutionix and Third Dimension. and VDI/VDE 2617/2634). To simplify the interpretation of the measurement results, they are shown in a colour- coded way (red/green) including deviation parameters. The measured and calculated data is stored in a data base with multi-user access. tetronom Analyzer 3 is suitable for all companies that monitor portable or stationary 3D measuring systems with the help of artefacts. Furthermore, the software has proven to be useful for measurement service companies, calibration laboratories and manufacturers of coordinate measurement systems. tetronom Analyzer 3 can be acquired “stand- alone” or bundled with one or more artefacts. At Control, tetronomAnalyzer 3 will be at booth 7203 in hall 7. AiMESS Products GmbH, based in Burg, Germany, was founded in August

IN order to ensure consistent measure- ment data quality, each AiMESS 3D measuring system is calibrated before delivery and regularly checked on-site. This is mainly done with the help of artefacts. At the trade show Control, the German artefact manufacturer AiMESS will showcase a new high-performance software package called tetronom Analyzer 3 that automatically analyses the measurement data collected with artefacts. This not only scores the software with a modern design but also offers a 3D view of the artefact that makes the allocation of the measurement points and thus the handling of the software easy. Moreover, the software package provides a graphic and alphanumeric representation of the results (eg as trend analysis and measurement uncertainty diagram) according to valid standards and guidelines (DIN EN ISO 10360

CABLE FOR THE AUTOMATION PROCESS

STEPS INTER- FACE

In Chelyabinsk in the Southern Urals, SMS Meer set up a large-diameter pipe mill that offers product quality down to the last detail. As the complete plant was engineered and built by SMS Meer, all the components and interfaces function perfectly together. A particular character- istic is the extremely high degree of automation, with no less than 47 machining stations in the production process. Furthermore, the plant is one of the cleanest of its type. The customer, ChTPZ Group, speaks of “white metallurgy“ – and chose the colour of the workers‘ clothing to match.

Quality unites – a fact that our customers and we discover time and again with every new project. Together we develop solutions that give our partners the competitive edge in their business. Thanks to this good cooperation, SMS Meer is a leading international company in heavy machinery and plant engineering.
