Dear Valued Customer, I would like to take this opportunity and remind you of the closing of our location at the corner of Coliseum and Coldwater. It is not a move we are excited about after 30 wonderful years on this corner. Please know that this is not a reflection of the tremendous support that you, our customer, has given us. It is simply a matter of our lease running out and the new owner of the building deciding to remodel and make this corner the premier location that it deserves and is due to receive in terms of updated architecture and other enhancements. We wish the new tenants as much success at this location as we have enjoyed for many years, thanks to you! The good news is that Bobick’s Golf not going anywhere except 6.9 miles to the south. We are simply consolidating our two stores at our Bluffton Road location and outdoor driving range where we have been for the past 44 years! They will be joining our staff here on Bluffton Road and continue to serve you as they have for the past many years at the North location. While the 8 models on the cover offer 5000 different combinations, the process of selecting the best new driver, fairways, hybrids and irons for your game doesn’t have to be difficult or confusing. Our award winning equipment experts will make it educational and fun for you to sift through the choices and make this season of golf your best. It’s been said that typical golfers benefit even more from personalized custom fitting through their bag than PGA Tour players, who are so talented they can make even a mismatched club perform adequately. While the statement “it’s a game of good misses” is not untrue, and today’s technology is incredibly forgiving our goal is to have you center the hit as often as possible. And if your clubs are a mismatch you’ll find yourself making subtle compensations in alignment, tempo, swing path and balance that only a fraction of golfers are capable of executing consistently. Modern launch monitors are incredibly accurate and revealing in many ways. There are sev- eral benefits to being fitted in an indoor studio as well as on our outdoor driving range. The temperature is constant, there’s no wind, and the turf/impact area is always pure and level. Many ball flight and swing analyzers of today feature realistic displays of a driving range or “cyber” holes that make the experience realistic and the control conditions ideal. Both our indoor and outdoor launch monitor platform technologies provide precise data on club head speed, club path, angle of attack, landing angle, impact position, launch angle, ball speed, spin rate trajectory, exact distance and much more. Of course, hitting and testing on the outdoor range will give you realistic performance in outdoor conditions as well. We have both options indoor or outdoor for you to choose from. All said, the modern launch monitor is only as effective as its operator, and this is an area where our facilities truly shine. Store staff associates are constantly being trained and up- dated on the latest fitting devices and golf equipment with all the major brands so that your clubs, ball, distance measuring devices, bags, and even your shoes are right for you.
