The API pipe mill is composed of the introduction group (charge coil car, uncoiler, opening group), a fully automatic strip joint bench, a horizontal spiral accumulator and profile line which includes break down, linear cage forming, 4-rolls welding head, edge guiding, 3-stand fin-pass and 4-stand sizing quick change, a double scarfing unit, cooling and a 4-stand turkshead. The line is completed by a flying cut-off double blade shear.
