Rattunde adds to staff TUBE and bar processing machinery manufacturer Rattunde has appointed a number of individuals to new positions at the company, based in Caledonia, Michigan, USA.

Metalube wins award SPECIALIST lubricant manufacturer Metalube Ltd has been awarded a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation 2014. This is the second successive year that the company has been honoured with this accolade. The company won in the International Trade category in 2013. The Innovation Award was made to Metalube for inventing OCG 6000 synthetic grease to protect over-head electrical conductors. The corrosion-preventing grease can operate at over 200ºC with an operational life exceeding 20 years. OCG 6000 extends the lives of conductors delaying future renewal of pylon infrastructure.

Rattunde to handle multiple functions. His primary duty will be to help maintain the Rattunde customer relationships that have been generated over the last eight years in North America. He will also help with market research, assisting Rattunde in its expansion into new markets. A third area of responsibility will be marketing. He has a sales background, having worked for the last nine years in the automotive industry, selling components. Carlos Galan – order fulfilment agent: Mr Galan, who is fluent in Spanish, was hired for inside sales to support the Mexican and Latin American markets Rattunde currently sells to and seeks to develop further. He is responsible for quoting and fulfilling tooling and spare part orders for all North American customers, with special emphasis on the Mexican and Latin American companies. Chad Luptowski – control system technician: Mr Luptowski has been a member of the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) for ten years and is also a Certified Master Electrician. He will be training new and current customers as well as commissioning new machines in the field. His other duties will include handling the customer help line and assisting the service team. Janelle Crum – project coordinator: Ms Crum will be responsible for pre- and post-sales communications between customers and internal resources, plus the planning of machine installations. She has been an executive assistant for the past three years, and has spent time in both inside and outside sales. Will Richards – associate of business development: Mr Richards was hired by
