Two new electrofusion welders ELEKTRA 500 and Elektra 1000 are two new polyvalent electrofusion welders for low-tension (from 8 to 48V) electrical fittings for pressurised conducts in HDPE, PP, PP-R, replacing the Elektra 400 and Elektra 800. working conditions; simplified control panel which, together with the crosswise buttons and the navigation menu, makes it very easy to use the machine; and laser scanner to read the electrical fittings bar codes, therefore setting the welding parameters automatically. These models, designed for their reliability and precision, are to be replaced by even greater and more innovative machines, which look ahead and go beyond. The Elektra 500 welds from Ø20mm to 500mm, while the Elektra 1000 welds from Ø20mm to 1,600mm. (Please contact Ritmo SpA for further information on electrofusion welding above Ø1,200mm). The laser technology allows a more accurate reading in case of reflection or when the bar codes are not perfectly intact; on request, customers can have a GPS that registers the location where the welding is taking place, allowing its tracking. All data will appear on the welding report; 4,000 welding cycles can be downloaded as PDF files, containing the operators’ names; a USB port can be used to download the welding reports and update the firmware. The machines come with a manual scraper and a rigid transport case. In addition to the GPS, customers can also order an ESC-POS printer.
