S ounces offennel-seed. 3 do. coriander-seed, 3 do. carrot-seed. 3 do. caraway-seed. 3 do. green anise-seed.

Ground; macerate for 8 days with 4 gallons of alcohol, 95 per cent., and 3^ gallons of water (see jSTo. 5); add 2^ gallons of white plain syrup. Filter. (See Nos.3 and 7.)

319. Rosa Bianca. (WMte Rose.)

40 drops ofoU ofroses. 65 do. tincture ofmusk.

Dissolved in 3 gallons of alcohol, 95 per cent.; add 20 lbs. ofsugar dissolved in 5J gallons of water. Filter.

820. Rose Rouge. (Red Rose.)

40 drops of oil ofroses.

40 do. tincture of musk. 24 do. oil oforange.

Dissolved in 3 gallons of alcohol, 95 per cent., and add 20 lbs. ofsugar dissolved in 5} gallons of water, and coloi rose- (See No.93.) Filter. (See No. 3.)

321. Rosolio.

2 drachms ofessence of vanilla. 13 drops of oil of roses. 57 do. essence ofamber.

Dissolved in 3 gallons of alcohol, 95 per cent., and add 20 lbs. of sugar dissolved in 5J gallons of water; color rose. (See No. 93.) Filter.
