Registering for the Bar as a Student Below is the list of states that require registration as a law student. This information was compiled from the Comprehensive Guide to Bar Admission Requirements 2019 (compiled by the National Conference of Bar Examiners and the American Bar Association). If you are planning to sit for the bar in any of these states, please complete the State Bar online registration at the links below. SECOND YEAR
