New staff for US expansion

SPI Lasers LLC has hired two new senior staff members to expand the North American team as the company looks to build on strong growth in 2007. These new applications for the fibre laser come as a result of the free of charge ‘Proof of Principle’ trials where device and component manufactu- rers from around the globe are invited to work with SPI on their own application specific trials. In addition, SPI offer a ‘try before you buy’ pro- gramme and provides a progressive programme to support academic and not-for-profit research centres. and a new website for China

SPI Lasers, a designer and manufacturer of fibre lasers, has launched a new website – www.spilasers-china.cn – for the Chinese market.

The new website provides information on SPI Lasers’ entire range in the Chinese language for the first time, as well as the capability to book evaluations, download datasheets and application notes, book samples into the applications laboratory, find contact details of the relevant sales and customer support team and more. This new website comes as a result of excellent sales in the region.
