The occasional news account of the dismantling of a huge steel plant in one country and its reassembly in another makes fascinating reading. The sheer size of the factory; the logistical nightmare of its disassembly, packing, marking, and preparation for transport; the length and expense of the sea voyage to its new locale: taken together, these comprise enough of a challenge to comprehension.
