The University of San Diego is very proud of the student-athletes that represent our institution on 16 men's and ivomen 's NCAA Division-I athletic teams. These are proud and serious competitors, honored to represent the Uni– versity. The dedication you witness on the plqying fields, on the court, on the course, or in the zvater is great!J matched in the classrooms, the laboratories, on stage, or in the community. Lastyear thirty-ninepercent of our student-athletes carried agrade-point average above 3.2, and 11 of our teams had a cumulative grade-point average above 3.0. Athletics is vital to the University of San Diego, a ivqy students, faculty, steff andalumni come together as one community.
