Infrastructure - War Memorial Coliseum Complex Fund

BUDGET HIGHLIGHTS 

A General Fund contribution of $2.34 million is included to support operations in FY 14-15. This transfer is necessary to support the War Memorial Coliseum Complex operations not otherwise offset by user fees.  Upcoming elite events for the Greensboro Aquatic Center include the NCAA Division 1 Swimming and Diving Championships and the AT&T Winter Senior Swim National Championships.  The Coliseum will host the 2015 Men’s and Women’s ACC Basketball Tournaments and the Women’s NCAA Regional Championships in FY 14-15. The Coliseum will also host the 2015 US Figure Skating Championships in January 2015.  Upcoming family show highlights include the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney on Ice, Sesame Street Live, Monster Truck Jam, and Marvel Universe Live.  Trade show and convention highlights include the International Market America Convention, the NC Nursery and Landscapers Association Conference, the NC Coaches Clinic Convention and Trade Show and many other trade and consumer shows.
