A 1989 graduate of Bradley University, Masur began his broadcast ing career worki ng as a top-40 DJ in Peo ri a, Illi nois for six years. Upon moving back to the Chicago area, he started out as a radio t raffic reporte r, and rad io t alk-show host and sport s report er. He hosted an overn ight show on t he One-on-One Sport s Network before getti ng hired by WGN .
