Saturday, June 1st at 9:00 am @ the Hall Come to learn all you need to know from our experts: Adina Bercowicz, Founder and Executive Director, LymeTV Yan Zelener, Director of Science, LymeTV Chedemption 2024 We had a fantastic Chedemption season in 2023! Over 2,100 Clynk bags were shipped off the island for no charge, thanks to Casco Bay Lines. This removed more than 34,000 pounds of glass, plastic, and aluminum from the island’s waste stream. The Chedemption Committee is once again asking for the island non-profits’ assistance in bagging up returnables during the summer months. Each non-profit received a check for $600 thanks to its 27 hours of volunteer help at the Chedemption shed last summer. Hosted by the Chebeague Island Council

Please reach out to one of these non-profits if you’d like to help them cover their hours. Keep in mind that volunteer weeks begin on Wednesday afternoons and run through Monday mornings.
