NFPA 704 Hazard Diamond Standard System for the Identification of the Hazard of Materials for Emergency Response In case of accidents involving hazardous substances, the hazard diamond helps safety and rescue forces to immediately evaluate possible dangers. The hazard diamond shows four coloured fields: blue for safety hazards, red for flammability, yellow for instable substances and a white field at the bottom for specific warning information.
