❍ ❍ Figure 1 : Build variation for gas, thermal power

Benefits of natural gas vs electricity for thermal power – Super Compact gas copper and aluminium wire enamelling machines The final price for enamelled wire is dependent on the same costs for all manufacturers and variable costs. The same costs for all enamelled wire producers are the cost for the bare rods LME, cost for motive power, transformation cost up to a diameter of 2.5mm, and cost of the enamel. Example. In Italy for 1kW electric energy €0.12, 1m 3 methane gas €0.35 Excluding the weight of the general expenses, the cost to produce 1,000kg is €300 with a high speed enamelling machine, and €140 with a high speed Super Compact enamelling machine, offering a €160 saving per 1,000kg produced. The following consumption and production data has been attested by the company De Angeli Prodotti Srl, which worked together with Sicme Italia Impianti Srl for 15 days with laboratory testing equipment, measuring consumption, quality and speed of production, and pollution. Currently two machines, two lines each, are running at full production at De Angeli, both aluminium and copper. What is the cost to produce 1,000kg of grade 1 aluminium with a diameter of 0.28mm? Data from a high-speed wire enamelling machine: VxD 124 Hourly production rate 4.4kg Thermal consumption per 1kg 2.5kW Thermal consumption per 1,000kg 2,500kW Time required to produce 1,000kg 227 hours Data from a high-speed Super Compact gas wire enamelling machine: VxD 149 Hourly production rate 5.3kg Thermal consumption per 1kg 0.4m 3 (methane) Thermal consumption per 1,000kg 400m 3 (methane) Time required to produce 1,000kg 188 hours
