COMMUNITY CENTER/ICE ARENA

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED Due to state public health guidelines regarding COVID-19, reservations are required to ensure the facility stays within the state's capacity guidelines. Reservations can be made on the city website at www.ShakopeeMN.gov/communitycenter .

SHAKOPEE COMMUNITY CENTER The Shakopee Community Center offers fitness equipment, gyms, walking track, an indoor aquatic center, indoor playground, drop-in child care, fitness classes and meeting space. It is also home to the Shakopee Ice Arena, Ṡ akpe ti Lounge, Enigma Teen Center and the Shakopee Skate Park. Learn more about these amenities on the city website at www.ShakopeeMN.gov/communitycenter . » Gymnasiums Our two gyms feature courts for basketball, pickleball and volleyball. Most time is dedicated to open gym. » Indoor Track The three-lane walking/jogging track is free to use and available to the community year-round. » Cardiovascular & Strength Area

SHAKOPEE ICE ARENA The Shakopee Ice Arena is open year-round for practices, games, recreational skating, lessons, camps and tournaments by local and surrounding community organizations. It includes two sheets of ice, locker rooms, pro shop and bleacher seating. PRIVATE ICE RENTAL The Shakopee Ice Arena sells time to teams, clubs, camps and private groups at any time in the year. The fitness center features a variety of cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights. Participants must be 15 years of age to use the fitness center alone. However, ages 12-14 can exercise with an adult and 12-13 years old must do an orientation. » Indoor Aquatic Center The 22,300-square-foot aquatic center includes a zero-depth entry pool with play features and water slide, four-lane lap pool, whirlpool and sauna. At this time, the The Lookout Indoor Playground, Ṡ akpe ti Lounge, Enigma Teen Center and Kids Cove child care remain closed.
