commercial quarries in Sub-Saharan Africa. “Our aim is to become involved right from the beginning and to provide our services from the design through to the manufacturing and engineering.” Janse van Rensburg points to B&E International’s ongoing Build, Operate and Own (BOO) contract for the crushing, agglomeration and stacking plant for the Tschudi copper mine in northern Namibia. “We started with this contract at the beginning of the year and are ramping up.” This is not only B&E International’s first contract in the copper sector, but is also its first Greenfield mining project and is anticipated to be its largest engineering contract to date.
