Trail Dedicated to longtime Ripley Trail Riders Member Gary Hanson By: Jay Hanson

We lost one of our long time members this fall, Gary Hanson, my brother, he wasn’t just amemberhewas intoevery part of the club from it’s beginning. He built and helped build many bridges, cut new trails and helped maintain them, groomed trails, repaired equipment and buildings and taught others how to do the same things. He even built some of our drags that we are using now. Needless to say he will be missed by many people.

This month the club, with donations from different people, have created a trail with excellent signs in his memory. The interesting part of this is that part of the trail is on land that Gary and Brenda use to own and had sold recently. With a clause in the deed that the snowmobile club would have a right a way through a part of this land.
