Four sensors acquire four images of the object, and the resulting data is analysed on the system computer by image processing software. Rectangular and complex pro les can be measured. The pro le types can be entered as CAD data in the DXF le format using the “Teach-In” program that allows new products to be de ned very simply. The results are displayed numerically and graphically with a numerical display in large numbers of important selected speci c dimensions.
