Hawaiian Seascapes ABOARD THE SAFARI EXPLORER

DAYS 1-3 MOLOKAI TO LANAI After boarding the yacht in Molokai, you’ll meet with the locals and experience their land and traditions as few visitors ever do. A wonderful hike leads to a towering waterfall in Halawa’s cathedral valley, one of the island’s most historic places, and you’ll enjoy an evening pa’ina feast. On Lanai, snorkel, paddle board, kayak, explore by skiff, or stretch your legs on a nature hike to Sweetheart Rock, a sea stack jutting 80 feet above the crashing surf. Learn about the island’s plantation days with a visit to the Lanai Culture and Heritage Center. DAYS 4-5 MAUI Once a place of refuge, Olowalu offers fantastic snorkeling among coral gardens teeming with underwater life and a known sea turtle habitat. The Humpback National Marine Sanctuary—located between Lanai, Molokai, and Maui—provides front-row seats as you cruise through these productive marine breeding grounds searching for dolphins, whales, and other marine life. DAYS 6-8 HAWAII, THE BIG ISLAND Fringed by coconut palms, Honomalino Bay reveals a diversity of colorful corals, sponges, and tropical fishes. Enjoy fantastic snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking, and a thrilling night snorkel with giant Pacific manta rays. Some of the island’s best snorkeling is in Kealakekua Bay, site of the first extensive contact between Hawaiians and Westerners with the arrival of Captain Cook in 1779 (the captain did not fare well). At Kailua-Kona, stroll through town and uncover the charm of this historic town. The ship docks at Kawaihae Harbor, from where you’ll be transferred to the Kona Airport or your extended hotel stay.

Hop between four gorgeous Hawaiian islands—Molokai, Lanai, Maui, and Hawaii, the Big Island—on this inclusive exploration that embraces the spirit of aloha . Aboard a 36-guest boutique yacht, you’ll watch for whales; “talk story” with locals; hike to a towering waterfall in a sacred valley; and take part in a special pa’ina (a feast complete with a home-style Hawaiian jam session!). And there’s plenty of time to enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, and paddleboard excursions in lovely underwater realms. Then relax on deck, mingle in the lounge, or chat up the captain on the bridge. Many of the crew are from Hawaii, so they keep it authentic. Immerse yourself in aloha, and experience the islands from a different perspective.
