Cruise Collection 2019 Brochure

Ocean Adventurer The recently renovated 132-guest Ocean Adventurer is an expedition ship equipped with stabilizers and an ice-strengthened hull that allow her to navigate easily in the most rugged environments. Each cabin has an ocean view, individually controlled heat/air conditioner, an in-room music system, and en suite bathroom facilities. Public spaces on board include a window-lined dining room that seats all guests at leisurely single seatings, a spacious lounge, library, gift shop, laundry, and small gym. A fleet of Zodiacs permits landing anywhere nature or curiosity dictates. Northwest Passage: In the Footsteps of Franklin, p. 11 Three Arctic Islands, p. 13

Ortelius & Plancius The 116- to 123-guest, ice-strengthened Ortelius and Plancius are excellent vessels for expedition cruising in the Arctic and Antarctica. Built in 1989, the Ortelius has the highest ice-class notation (UL1 equivalent to 1A), and the Plancius , built in 1976 and completely rebuilt in 2009, complies with the latest SOLAS-regulations. Both vessels have simple but comfortable cabins, ranging from quadruples and triple cabins with bunk beds to superior cabins with double beds. All are outside cabins with a minimum of two portholes or windows per cabin, and have private shower and toilet, hairdryers, flat-screen TV and ample storage space. Public areas include lots of open-deck space, a restaurant that seats everyone in a single seating, and a bar/lecture room. They carry a fleet of Zodiacs for shore excursions. Ocean Nova The Ocean Nova is an expedition-style ship carrying just 68-86 guests, depending on the destination. She was built in Denmark in 1992 to sail the ice-choked waters of Greenland, and her ice-strengthened hull is ideally suited for travel in polar regions. The ship offers basic but comfortable outside-facing cabins, all with private facilities. Six of the cabins on the upper deck have upper and lower berths, while all other cabins have two lower berths. In addition to a glass-enclosed observation lounge and presentation room, the Ocean Nova has a spacious dining room, bar, and library. Guests are welcome on the bridge around the clock and there is always something to see or search for from the spacious observation decks. There are seven Zodiacs on board, ideal for disembarking for shore excursions and wildlife watching. Antarctica Air Cruise, p. 8
