It was a real pleasure to take such a prestigious tournament to what is Europe’s largest golf resort, and thanks to the hard work and dedication of Hans Dieter Cleven, the majority owner of Hartl Resort, and his team, it truly lived up to the billing. Golf tournaments are first and foremost about the fans and, with Martin Kaymer making his debut this year alongside a very strong field, while the build-up to The Ryder Cup continues, it is sure to be a magnificent occasion for the German spectators.
