PENTHOUSE IN VIENNA

Крыши старинных венских домов в центре города всё чаще превращают в пентхаусы. Работа по соз- данию интерьера велась именно в таком месте — в квартире с ломаными пространствами и больши- ми панорамными окнами. Городской пейзаж в этой ситуации невольно становится частью интерьера, поэтому можно говорить о том, что архитектура пентхауса продиктовала современное лаконичное решение интерьера. Архитекторам было важно вы- явить и подчеркнуть уникальные видовые точки города и сделать так, чтобы они стали доминиру- ющими декоративными элементами. Так, цвето- вая палитра венских крыш стала главным мотивом в колористическом решении интерьера. Текстиль, ковры, аксессуары подобраны в приглушённых серо-изумрудных тонах, создающих своего рода рифму антуражу за окном. The roofs of old Viennese houses in the center of the city are gradually converted into penthouses. One of such places — an apartment with a “broken-plan” layout and large panoramic windows was the site for work of the interior designers. In this situ- ation the surrounding urban landscape automatically be- came an integral part of the interior, which means that the penthouse architecture dictated the laconic interior solution. It was important for architects to identify and em- phasize the unique points of the city and to accentuate them as the dominant interior decorative elements. Thus, the color palette of the Viennese roofs became the main motive in the interior coloristic solutions.
