Sacred Heart CYC Sports Program The mission of the Catholic Youth Council (CYC) is to proclaim Jesus Christ in word and action by serving the needs of every boy and girl, regardless of ability, religious affiliation, or ethnic background, to develop discipline and skills necessary to obtain and sustain individual achievements, build character and to develop valued relationships and teamwork. - Eligible players are Sacred Heart Parish children and children who reside within another parish boundary without teams. You do not have to be Catholic or attend Sacred Heart. Coaches are parents or other volunteers who have taken coaching courses. They play CYC Parishes in St. Charles County. Practices are 1 per week and 1-1.5 hours long. - Register at or email Mary Kate Livingston at ~ Basketball: Grades 3-8. Registration opens in September. Season is January-March. ~ Golf: Grades 2-8, Grades 2-4 (Training league). Grades 5-8 are competitive. Registration is January-February. Season is April-June. ~ Soccer: Girls & Boys, Pre-K-8th. Registration is May-June. Season is August- November. Includes 10 games on Saturday/Sunday. ~ Volleyball: Girls & Boys. 3-8 Grade. 3rd Grade is a training league. Registration is May- June. Season is Sept. thru Nov. Games are Friday Evening/Sunday night. 10 Game Schedule (5 at Sacred Heart / 5 at Hosting Parishes) + Playoffs.
