This Bill up-dates the law in relation to the care of children, particularly children who have been assaulted, ill treated, seriously neglected or sexually abused or who are at risk. Presented in the Dáil by the Minister for Health 20/5/88.
This Bill provides for the establishment of the Radiological Protection Institute of Ireland, the dissolution of the Nuclear Energy Board; enables a range of radiation protection measures to be taken by various Ministers in the event of a radiological emergency, gives effect to provisions of the Convention on Assistance in the case of a Nuclear Accident or Radiological Emergency (the Assistance Convention), the Convention on Early Notification of a Nuclear Accident (the Notification Convéntion), and the Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material (the Protection Convention). Presented in the Dáil by the Minister for Energy 28/3/90.
