DIANE CAMPBELL, ASSISTANT COACH
Fourth Season Brigham Young University (1987)
Diane Campbell begins her fourth season on the bench, the longest tenure of any USO assistant coach. A Brigham Young University alumnus (Recreation, 1987), Campbell earned All– High Country Athletic Conference and all-region honors as a Cougar. With her college days complete, Campbell played overseas professionally in France (1989-90) before a stint as head coach at Eastern Montana University (1990). This past winter she twice earned Game MVP honors in helping the San Diego Spikers to the inaugural championship of the National Volleyball Association (NVA). A year earlier Campbell led the forerunner San Diego Waves to the Western Womens' Volleyball League Championship. She and husband David Brunette live in Rancho Penasquitos.
