Throw in some relaxation and ever-changing views together with towering beauty of the peaks, the slow and gentle snowfall, and then the perfect ski run. What about a huge variety of slopes, excitement, a pulsing heartbeat, add in new feelings, new tastes, genuine flavours to be relished, fun, unusual sports, hospitality. all of this and more in a single word... Folgaria. SKI AREA FOLGARIA LAVARONE: 100 KM for a lot of fun! The mountains of Alpe Cimbra are unforgettable for their 100 Km of slopes and wide views that reach the beautiful peaks of the Alps. For example, from Monte Pioverna it is possible to admire fascinating peaks like Pale di San Martino, Pasubio, Marmolada, Adamello, Cevedale, Ortles, Gruppo di Brenta, Piccole Dolomiti Venete e Catinaccio. Specifically, there is something for everyone at Alpe Cimbra: exciting skiing in between the forests for the lovers of slow skiing, technical descents for expert skiers and for nature lovers, there is always the chance to glimpse wild animals hiding in the woods Usually snowfalls from the start of December to the end of April. In case of unusual weather conditions, snow is guaranteed at Alpe Cimbra anyway, thanks to one of the most modern programmed snowmaking system (100%). The ski area is characterised by more than 50 slopes, which develop along a very wide area. The descent varies significantly from one slope to another, which is the reason why skiers love our ski centers.

The quality of the slopes and snow cover is well-finished. Since a couple of years ago, skiers recognised it as one of the most comfortable in the Trentino region. This aspect is vital in order to ensure safety, fun and clear movement around the ski area. The ski passion of Alpe Cimbra goes back to a long time ago. For instance, the popular slalom race known today as Tre- Tre, an international Ski World Championship, took place for the first time in the Alpe Cimbra. Several international ski champions grew up on the slopes of Alpe Cimbra. Today, Alpe Cimbra has host several editions of Topolino Race, which is the most important international alpine skiing race for young people. Similarly, the Italian ski race team often trains on the black slope, called Agonistica. Finally, the offer is completed when looking at the several opportunities that Alpe Cimbra ensures to lovers of back-country skiing - for example, mountain of Cornetto is the ideal locus for this kind of activity, as much as Cima Vezzena and Cima Portule – telemarking and snowshoeing. Also, freestyler skiers will have great fun in the several Snow-parks, Fun Parks and border cross trails.
