Create a Source Document Element

Once the “Select” button is activated, the “Select Document for Root Entities” dialog box is opened:

Steps: 1. Click: “New” 2. Enter Name 3. Click: “OK”

This creates a new Document Element which will “ document ” all of the elements once parsed into the model.

Load the Source Document

Load the Document to be parsed. 1. Click “Load Document”

2. Navigate to: C:\Program Files x86\Vitech\GENESYS 5 Collaborative Edition\Samples\Project Samples 3. Select the file named: “GeospatialLibrarySourceDocument”

4. Select: OPEN

This will pull the document text into the white space in the Parser (see next slide…)

Note: Documents of type .docx, .doc, .htm, .html, .rtf, .txt can be loaded into the Document Parser
