Renumber Requirements

Select Requirement R.1 Then, Right click and select Renumber from the menu window.

Receive Renumber Warning

New number should be “R.1”, select OK.

This will renumber the elements in Hierarchy below the R.1 branch

Renumber will assign Hierarchical numbering down the hierarchy tree of the element selected

Renumber Requirements

Select 3.1 Specific Requirements Then, Right click and select Renumber from menu window

Type in new number “R.2”

Select OK

This will renumber the Specific Requirements.

NOTE: The REQUIREMENT class uses “refined by” as the Parent – Child relation. Parent – Child relation determines the hierarchy. The parent – child relation is unique within a Class
