Green building conference The Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA) has attracted five internationally acclaimed leaders on sustainability to speak at its upcoming conference in Sandton, Johannesburg, 26-28 July.

C EO Brian Wilkinson says, “We know time is not on our side. Climate scientists have told us this is the decade to take decisive ac- tion. Small steps won’t get us where we need to go.” “Now is the time for bold leader- ship focused on purpose and on collaborative communities and cit- ies, and it’s time for innovative and disruptive technology. Elkington works with large corporations, the finance and investment community, industry bodies, media, academia, government, innovators and entre- preneurs across the globe. He has been described as a true green busi- ness guru and a dean of the corporate responsibility movement. Medical doctor, analytical psy- chologist, psychiatrist and former Springbok, Dr Ian McCallum, is a specialist wilderness guide as well as a director of the Wilderness Foun- dation.
