Payroll Spreadsheet Notes 4.1.1 Excel spreadsheet that includes notes of every correction/adjustment that is made to a timesheet, as well as reminders of answers needed from supervisors 4.1.2 Spreadsheet is created and maintained by the fiscal analyst and/or specialist

PU – Public Utilities

5.2

PC User – employees who have pre-populated schedules in PeopleSoft

5.3 Clocker – employees who must swipe in and out for work days and lunch periods 5.4 Straight Time – can be used for exempt and non-exempt employees; leave requests can make someone get paid at straight time 5.5 Overtime – Employee must physically work 40 hours in a workweek; paid at time and a half, not including call back 5.6 Time Codes – used for determining how an employee is paid 5.6.1 Regular – total amount of pay for regular hours worked 5.6.2 Standby – employees who are on call; based on a 7-day work week which equates to 1.14 hours per day 5.6.3 Call Back – used for emergency jobs only; employee must be clocked out and away from the job site when the call is received to come back to work; time begins when the employee heads to the work site and does not end until the employee returns home 5.6.4 Holiday Premium – employee pay for time worked on the actual holiday or city observed holiday, but not both
