GPS expands barrier system GPS PE Pipe Systems has enhanced its Protecta-Line barrier pipe range with the introduction of pupped fittings, enabling installers to use butt-fusion welding techniques. The product launch is the latest in a series of innovations from GPS, which has also seen the polyethylene pipe specialist launch a new range of mechanical fittings for its Protecta- Line pipe range. In addition to winning a water industry innovation award, Protecta-Line has become the first system to offer fully impermeable valves and undertake an exhaustive regime of independent testing to achieve a full system Kitemark to WIS 4-32-19.
