The HCC Bursary For many years the parent committee at Havergal, known as the Havergal Community Committee (HCC), has contributed generously to the well-being of Havergal College. Made up of a group of dedicated and committed parents, the HCC works tirelessly to support a variety of important initiatives at the school including Celebration Saturday, the Green & Gold Shop, the Father Daughter Dance and Birthday Books, to name a few. Each year, the HCC contributes to the school’s “Wish List” by providing funding from a variety of HCC-run initiatives toward items needed in the school. Tournament (which began in the 2008-2009 school year), the HCC established “The HCC Bursary,” an endowed fund that provides funding for mission- appropriate students who would otherwise be unable to attend Havergal. Since that time, three successful golf tournaments, as well as other HCC initiatives, have raised more than $170,000. With funds generated from the Havergal Golf
