Born in Detroit, Michigan, Ian Skidmore, 26, gradu– ated from the University of Kentucky in 1991 with a degree in Marketing. A two-time NCAA Division I All– American in doubles, Ian played professional tennis for a year before joining the staff of the Blocher-Merry Tennis Academy in Escondido, California, where he taught during '92 and '93.. .1995 is Ian's 2nd year as USD's assistant men's tennis coach...married (Kelly).
